Serve with the Faith Family

God is working at Faith Church and we want you to be a part of it!

Joining a team and volunteering is a great way to build your relationship with others and use your gifts to serve the Lord. There are several ways you can serve at Faith Church, check out our ministry volunteering opportunities below.

Faith Groups

The way of Jesus is best practiced through relationships. Faith Groups meet regularly around Manitowoc to live out the Faith Church mission of loving Jesus, serving others, and doing life together.

At Faith Church, Faith Groups are the primary environment for people to grow in their practices of Bible study and prayer, meet the practical needs of its members and neighborhood, and serve the needs of the community.

  • God calls us into community with each other. Here at Faith Church we believe that God uses ordinary men and women to lead and minister to their communities. To shepherd the people God entrusts to us, we need Faith Group leaders who will take seriously the privilege of caring for the people in their groups.

Connection Ministry

In the Connection Ministry we like to think of our opportunities to serve as a small commitment that has a big impact!  And with so many places to plug in, you’ll find a spot that stirs your passion while serving God, His mission and His people!  Browse our teams below and contact us for more information.

  • This team is in the know! Throughout the common grounds area on Sunday mornings you’ll find team players committed to serving our congregation through the gift of greeting! The simple act of saying hello and welcoming our congregants into the building goes a long way in sharing the heart of Jesus! The Welcome Team is comprised of three groups:

Greeters: Create a welcoming environment for guests by offering a sincere greeting and acknowledging each guest as a they enter the building.

Ushers: Help attendees feel welcome as they enter the sanctuary. Assist in walking guests to ministry locations and introducing them to a ministry lead.

Connection Point Desk: Encourage visitors to fill out connection cards. Point them toward a "Next Step" to help them continue to get connected to the Faith Family. Provide information and help people register for upcoming events.

Team members are asked to serve a minimum of 1 time a month, and arrive 20 minutes before each service (overlapping between the 8:30am and 10:15am).

  • This amazing team loves people through serving refreshments with a smile.  Volunteers are asked to serve 1 to 4 times a month and have the option to serve during the 8:30am or 10:15am service. The 8:30am volunteers are required to arrive 1 hour before service. You really have flexibility…but be warned, once you’ve served once, you’ll want to come back again and again!

  • Looking for a more behind the scenes opportunity?  Our communion teams serve 1 time a month and provide mission critical work for our Sunday morning services. Communion is a true act of worship in our church, and the teams that set up and/or clean-up are a vital component of our volunteer ministries.  Commitment is pretty simple – arriving at 7:30am for set up, or staying 30 minutes past a morning service to clean trays.
