Women's Ministry

We desire for all women to experience the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and enjoy true connections to God and other women through Bible studies, Apples of Gold mentorship program, and special events like conferences, ladies night and retreats. These opportunities build relationships and equip women to live out their faith.

Please read about opportunities below, you may also contact

September - May

9:00 - 11:00 AM

If you are in touch with the world, you know that people around you are in great pain. We run to many sources for relief when we are in pain. Some of us run to other people; many escape into drugs, work, further education and even hobbies. But when you put yourself in the hands of the Lord, Jehovah-rapha, the God who heals, He will be your refuge. No matter what you have done, or what's been done to you, He loves you and offers healing. In "Lord, Heal My Hurts," Kay Arthur guides you through the Scriptures to see how you can be set free from past hurts by the power of God. It is a devotional study on God's care and deliverance. This is a 12-week study and class time will include discussion and accompanying video. Facilitated by Shell Higdon. Cost for the book: $12

CLASS 2: What Would Jesus Do?

I'm sure most of you have heard the acronym, "WWJD," right? This semester, we will be asking that very question as we journey through the gospel of Luke with Jesus as our guide.  We will be placing a special emphasis on how He related to people around Him. What was different about the way He approached the religious leaders vs. the woman at the well? What was the same? How can we follow His example when we deal with similar personalities and situations in our day to day lives? How can we change our knee jerk reactions of " What should I do?" into the loving, life giving, grace filled response of " What would Jesus do?"  Facilitated by Amanda Lutz. No cost, just bring your Bible.

Child care is available for infant through early elementary age, with a Home-school class available.

Join us for a time of prayer and fellowship every Wednesday from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at Faith Church as we discuss the sermon and scripture from Sunday's service. There is no cost to attend, first class begins Wednesday, Sept. 15. Led by Dawn Stuffle

Join other women in the Apples of Gold mentoring program. As a mentor or as a learner - you will be blessed as you grow together in your love for God, your family, and others. An Apples of Gold class is more than a Bible study. As you meet weekly, mature women mentor younger women through:

  • Topical Bible studies based on Titus 2:3-5 (kindness, loving your husband, loving your children, submission, purity, hospitality)
  • Cooking demonstrations and the sharing of a meal
  • Encouragement to be the woman God has called you to be

Apples of Gold programs run in the fall and spring for 6 weeks. Check out the testimonials from previous participants in this short video.
